Friction is the resistance when the two surfaces come in contact. Friction plays a significant role in our world. Friction appears in daily situations in both a good and bad way. We are able to walk, run or drive our cars thanks to friction. Vehicles don't stop without friction. However, friction cause the car's engine to work less efficiently, and that's why oil is there to reduce friction between parts of an engine. In the video, friction is shown by the ball being rolled on the tennis court. The ball rolls for a while until it is stopped by friction, or in other words, friction slows it down and by that we don’t have to go too far to get the ball back.
